Chris Pine is the new Face of Armani Code
Haute man-of-the-moment Chris Pine has been announced as the latest celebrity spokesperson of Giorgio Armani’s Armani Code fragrance.
The new advertising campaign for the top-selling men’s cologne will be released in Spring 2014.
Of his choice, Armani said in a statement: “Chris perfectly embodies the brand’s spirit with his strong charisma and natural elegance. Besides revealing great talent, high versatility and the right amount of irony on set, his magnetic charm makes him the ideal match for this fragrance.”
What makes Pine so hot? His career includes recent releases as the titular character in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit as well as playing Captain Kirk in the Star Trek franchise reboots, leads in Unstoppable with Denzel Washington and Reese Witherspoon in This Means War.
The LA native will next appear alongside Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp in Rob Marshall’s musical Into the Woods and in the sequel to Horrible Bosses with Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey; he is currently shooting Z for Zachariah opposite Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor.
