Celebrity Spotting: Mario Lopez, More Attend the Fighters Only World MMA Awards

The Sixth Annual Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Awards took place inside the Venetian Theatre at the Venetian on Friday. The show, which was hosted by former fighter and Silver Star-awarded Marine-turned-FOX Sports commentator Brian Stann and television personality Nicole Dabeau, featured awards from 21 categories that celebrated all that is the sport of MMA.

Awards included Fighter of the Year (winner – Chris Weidman), Knockout of the Year (winner – Vitor Belfort), Comeback of the Year (winner – Travis Browne) and Fight of the Year (winner – Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson). Celebrity fans including rock legend Gene Simmons and son Nick Simmons, Chumlee from HISTORY’s “Pawn Stars,” actor and television personality Mario Lopez, former NFL star Terrell Owens, reality star and Vegas headliner Holly Madison, Sabina Kelley of Oxygen’s “Best Ink” and rapper Daddy Yankee, among others, also showed their support by attending and presenting awards alongside industry leaders.

The Sixth Annual Fighters Only World Mixed Martial Arts Awards will premiere nationally on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. on FOX Sports Network.
