Aspen Fashion Week

Don’t start thinking about beach bikinis yet. Runway winter wear returns to Aspen this March with Aspen International Fashion Week, March 13-16. The event brings snow-sports designers like Dennis Basso, Columbia, Obermeyer, Gorksi and PolarMax to the mountains to show off their lines for the 2014-15 season. Over four days, AIFW will host a series panel discussions, in-store boutique events, runway shows and private parties to celebrate slopeside fashion.

Fashion Week headquarters will be the Sky Hotel, and the apres-ski stage will set up again on the Silver Circle Ice Rink, providing an open-air venue for the runway shows. At night, Caribou Club, Regal and Bootsy Bellows will host official parties, where industry professionals can meet with emerging designers to discuss the next best thing in winter fashion. Highlights include a breakfast with Klaus Obermeyer, who founded the clothing company of the same name, and the Black and White Gala at the Caribou Club benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Single day tickets start at $100, and a all-access weekend pass runs for $275. For more information, visit Aspen International Fashion Week.
