Alexander Wang Debuts $8,000 Color-Changing Coat
Looking to add an Alexander Wang coat to your wardrobe, but can’t decide what color to pick? Problem solved. The fabulous fashion designer’s latest collection is now available for pre-order on Moda Operandi and it includes a “thermo-reactive” coat that changes color depending on temperature.
At room temperature, the coat has a dull green-brown hue, but changes to vibrant yellow, lime, blue or purple when exposed to heat. The heat-sensitive outerwear retails for $7,995, with a $3,998 deposit required to pre-order.
