The Van Gogh Museum Edition made its LA debut on Wednesday with the help of none other than Barbara Streisand.

The Academy Award winner was on hand to meet Willem van Gogh, the great, great grandson of Theo van Gogh (Vincent’s brother) and advisor to the Van Gogh Museum board, who was in LA to support the museum’s efforts to carry on Vincent’s legacy; actress Lily Collins was also in attendance at the event.

The collection making its U.S. debut includes: Sunflowers (1889), Almond Blossoms (1890), Boulevard de Clichy (1887), The Harvest (1888), and Wheatfield under Thunderclouds (1890).

Each piece in the Van Gogh Museum Edition is virtually identical to the original Van Gogh painting that is hanging in the museum, which will never be sold. The replications were produced in partnership with Fujifilm Belgium and Tribute International, the official distributor for the State of California.
