Hautest Scent-Repellent Sold at 80 Relais and Chateaux hotels: Aromaflage
While at Area 31, the delicious restaurant at the Epic Hotel for Brunch, I discovered a perfectly suitable product as I was walking toward the elevator. Yes, it sounds bizarre thus far, but Area 31 and Exhale Spa are on the same floor, so there was a trunk show going on, and of course I love to shop, so I stopped. I came across a new product called Aromaflage, a fine fragrance that doubles as insect repellent. So, are you the type who attracts mosquito’s but loves to smell amazing? Then I have found the perfect product for you!
Miami is full of mosquitos, but so are all of the glam destinations that you travel to. Safaris? St. Barth? Bahamas? Yep, they are all glam and full of little creatures that may bite you! Founders Melissa and Michael Fenerstock were on their honeymoon in Asia, dealing with the same issue we all encounter when on outdoors lux vacations: bites. So, they came up with this genius idea to protect our luxe legs and beyond. Inspired by the ancient Southeast Asian practice of using aromatic essential oils to repel insects, Aromaflage is a botanical fragrance with a function. The Fenerstock’s tell me “our essential oil based fragrance features sensual notes of silken vanilla, exotic orange, warm cedar-wood, and nourishing Vitamin E, lets you live your outdoor chic lifestyle while staying bug-free.“
Sold at 80 Relais and Chateaux hotels and high-end boutiques, I thought you needed to know that this exists, as on various occasions on vacation in Cat Cay in the Bahamas, and around the world in countries like Haiti, this could have helped me beyond. As always, it is a pleasure sharing my haute secrets!
