Haute Event: Ne-Yo Rings in the New Year at Pure Nightclub

Ne-Yo rang in the new year last night at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Kicking the night off, the artist hit the red carpet as he wowed photographers in a sleek suit and fedora before making his way into the sold out nightclub.

Ne-Yo made his way through the packed nightspot and was escorted to his VIP booth along with more than 40 of his closest family and friends as thousands of partygoers shouted his name. Hopping atop of his booth, Ne-Yo was in full celebratory spirit as he began dancing and greeting fans. As it got closer to midnight, the star made his way up to Pure’s terrace, where he prepared to ring in 2014. Ne-Yo took in the sights of The Strip filled with thousands of people and began the countdown. As the clock struck midnight and fireworks filled the air, Ne-Yo raised his glass of champagne high in the air and welcomed partygoers to the new tear.

Ne-Yo then headed back into the main room where he addressed guests, wishing them a happy new year and took a moment to pose for photos with his fans. Nearing 12:30 a.m. he had the entire nightclub on their feet as he began his show-stopping performance. Singing hit after hit including “Give Me Everything” and “Closer,” Ne-Yo had the packed room dancing and singing along.

As he segued into his chart-topping track “Play Hard,” Ne-Yo signaled a special guest to join him and give the audience a surprise treat. Appearing center stage were dancing sensations the Les Twins, Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, as they put on energetic, impromptu performance. The energy of the main room erupted with excitement as Ne-Yo joined back in to continue his mini-concert with the hit “Let Me Love You” while he had his admirers jumping and clapping in unison. The R&B sensation sang his single “Let’s Go” to close as he showed of his best dance moves.

Following his set, Ne-Yo returned to his VIP booth where he continued the celebration with his family and friends as they danced the night away while sipping champagne and cocktails before making their way out just after 2 a.m.
