Haute Event: Lisa Lampanelli Brings the Queen of Mean to the Pearl at the Palms

It takes Lisa Lampanelli approximately a tenth of a second before she begins roasting the audience and picking some targets (or sometimes targets pick themselves by walking in late – the fastest way to be a part of her show!).

Saturday night at the Pearl at the Palms featured comedy’s loveable Queen of Mean showcasing an hour of new material to the delight of her fans. The svelte Lampanelli also showed off her new hairdo, which she said was her “Miley Cyrus meets Jennifer Lawrence meets Kelly Osbourne” hairstyle – the latter referencing her hair’s grape-colored hue. When not on stage performing stand-up, Lampanelli is hard at work on her one woman show titled “Skinny Bitch,” which she hopes to have on Broadway later this year.

Blues rock guitar great Joe Bonamassa, a fan of Lampanelli’s, watched the show from one of The Pearl’s VIP skyboxes.
