Partygoers at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay were treated to a special set with Grammy-nominated producer/DJ Dirty South on Wednesday night, marking the deejay’s first appearance at Light.

To celebrate his first show, The Light Group team presented him with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot before dining with a small group of friends at Kumi Restaurant & Bar. There he ordered chef Akira Back’s greatest hits along with a chocolate cake. After Kumi, it was off to Light, where he began his energetic set with an explosive confetti shower.

Dirty South dominated the decks with a monster set of today’s hottest dance hits and his own songs as well including “We All Need Somebody to Love,” while taking a round of Tequila shots with his friends. During his sets there were choreographed acts by the nightclub’s gravity-defying Cirque performers, who dazzled the packed dance floor below while moving to Dirty South’s beats.

Also spotted at Light Nightclub, Yasmine from the DJ/performance group Krewella, who had just finished a set at iHeart Radio event at Haze at Aria.
