Reem Acra’s Cocktail Party with SAME SKY’s Francine LeFrak

Last week Reem Acra and SAME SKY founder Francine LeFrak were joined by Muna Rihani Al-Nasser for a special reception and to shop the SAME SKY collection.

Reem’s showroom is such a glamorous setting for such a party with gorgeous dresses everywhere you turn. It perfectly compliments the piece from SAME SKY, which was created in 2009 as a trade-not-aid initiative that employs African women living with HIV/AIDS as artisans, teaching them to make beautiful hand crocheted necklaces and bracelets and provides a platform to sell in the global marketplace.

As always, 100% of all net-proceeds from the sale of SAME SKY’s jewelry go to employing more women artisans and expanding the program.
