Pop-Up Piano Miami

Pop-Up Piano Miami and The Related Group’s 3-day “Hyde and Seek” concert series wrapped Saturday evening with a star-studded jam session at Paraiso Bay. Rami Jaffee of the Foo Fighters, P!nk’s violinist Jessy Greene, Dave Krusen of Pearl Jam and Norah Jones’ guitarist Jason Abraham Roberts were just a few of the notable musicians to perform. Miami-based singer-songwriter Cris Cab opened up the Celebrity Jam Session and set the energetic tone for the rest of the night.

The exquisite pianos on display this year were particularly special, as one was donated by the grandson of Holocaust survivors, who had the piano in his family for decades.  After his father passed away, he donated the beloved instrument to Pop Up Piano Miami. The collaboration with PUPM is part of Related’s longstanding commitment to the arts. The series was held at The Related Group’s SLS Brickell, Hyde Midtown and Paraiso Bay sites, all designed by Arquitectonica.  Paraiso Bay, the group’s luxury waterfront condominium that just launched this summer, will continue Related’s mission to incorporate art throughout their projects with a public sculpture park on its five-acre site.
