As part of Macy’s fifth annual National Believe Day in support of Make-A-Wish, 17-year-old Henderson resident Daniela had her wish of going on a trip to Japan granted.

Daniela, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, spent the evening at Macy’s and at a runway show at Fashion Show mall where she was brought onto the runway for a big surprise. The wish reveal occurred when the picture on the jumbotron changed to an image of Japan, and models dressed in Japanese attire brought out luggage for Daniela to take on her dream trip in April 2014.

In addition to Daniela’s wish in Las Vegas, Macy’s will help Make-A-Wish grant more than 50 special wishes across the country to create a day of “Wishes Across America” for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
