LA Hosts Haute Couture Fundraiser for the Philippines

Fashion-focused Angelenos threw a stylish soiree to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haivan in the Philippines last week.

Los Angeles Loves the Philippine Islands hosted the event in support of Doctors Without Borders at Riviera 31 Bar & Lounge on Friday. 

Items by Gucci, Armani, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Brooks Bros., Burberry, Max Mara, Ferragamo, Perrin Paris, Coach, Tod’s and Dior as well as luxury shopping packages from Neiman Marcus, Theory, the Real Real and Rent the Runway were auctioned off, raising nearly $25,000 for the cause.

Best-selling items included a black Chanel handbag for $1,800 and a LA Clippers floor package for $950.
