Kate Spade Holiday Pop-Up Shop Coming to JFK Airport

Need to kill some time before your flight? Skip the shelves of perfume and chocolates in Duty Free and head to the Kate Spade holiday pop-up shop in the Jet Blue terminal at JFK.

From Dec. 9 – 20, the brand is offering travelers a place to stock up on luxury holiday items like sparkly handbags, delicate jewelry and fresh scents. And the best part—all purchases will be shipped directly to consumers’ homes the very next day, so there’s no need to carry yet another bag on the plane.

“It’s like a sunny little oasis in the middle of a teeming terminal,” the company’s senior VP, Kyle Andrew, told WWD. “We asked ourselves, ‘Where is [the customer] going to be at holiday time?’ Rushing through the airport with last-minute shopping to do. It’s an unexpected place to do something in an unexpected way.”
