Giorgio Armani Collaborates with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Dicaprio for ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’

For his latest film collaboration, Giorgio Armani collaborated with Academy Award winning director Martin Scorsese for his much-anticipated film, The Wolf of Wall Street. The movie, which tells the story of Wall Street stockbroker Jordan Belfort, saw Armani work with acclaimed costume designer Sandy Powell to dress Leonardo Dicaprio, who stars as Belfort, in Giorgio Armani’s period style, circa 1993.

“Giorgio Armani revolutionized male fashion design – he gave us a new idea of elegance that was, and still is, a perfect fit with the times,” said Scorsese. “Giorgio and I have collaborated together many times over the years, and it was a joy to do so once again, to go back in time to tell a story that authentically showcases the style of the early 90s.”

Giorgio Armani will present the Paris premiere of the movie on 9 December and the world premiere in New York on 17 December. The movie opens on 25 December in the United States and globally throughout December and January.
