Carlos Santana paid a visit to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission on Monday night. Santana took the time to visit with residents of the mission, taking photographs, signing autographs, but most of all brought words of encouragement to the residents as they work through the 12 month Recovery Program, putting their lives back on track.

Santana also gave the blessing before the evening meal served in the mission’s dining center, and his Milagro Foundation also presented the mission with a generous donation to support its daily service to the homeless.

The Rescue Mission provides daily service to those in great need — providing an average of 1,000 meals daily, nearly 200 emergency beds for homeless men, women and families, daily basic need items to thousands of people each month, and also provide long term recovery care and job readiness to 120-plus men and women at any one time.
