Sierra has not only been an avid world-class skier for 22 years, she’s also turning heads on glossy pages with her stunning looks. After working as a massage therapist and even checking IDs at a bar, Sierra followed her dreams to become a professional skier. Now, she’s inspiring others with her unrivaled charm and versatile talent.
In this year’s film, fans will catch Sierra skiing In Iceland with three-time Olympian, Julia Mancuso in Ticket to Ride. The nationwide film has hit the Bay Area and Sierra will be making appearances at: Wheeler Auditorium in Berkeley on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 8 p.m.; Campbell Heritage Theater in Campbell on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 7:30 p.m and The Castro Theatre in San Francisco on Friday, November 15 at 8 p.m.
As for her favorite Bay Area resort, she recently told Haute Living, “I love skiing at Squaw Valley resort. My Dad ski raced at Squaw when he was young. He always brought us back to the mountain to visit friends when we were kids. I love the variety of accessible, steep terrain. The lines under K2 chairlift are my favorite. A few years ago I road tripped to Squaw with a friend and it must of snowed about 80 inches. It was some of the best powder resort skiing I’ve ever skied!”
