10th Annual Champagne Tasting at The Glunz Tavern

The Glunz Tavern (1202 North Wells) and The House of Glunz will hold their 10th Annual Champagne Tasting on Friday, December 6. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., over forty champagnes and sparkling wines will be sampled. Each wine has been selected for its total enjoyment and exceptional quality for the price. Guests will experience a variety of bubbly, from an $8.99 French sparkling that makes a festive mimosa to the famous prestige cuvées of Champagne’s Grande Marque houses. Every style for every occasion will be poured (Cremants of France; Prosecco from Italy; Cava of Spain; and various sparklings of South Africa, New Zealand, California and New Mexico). If guests are interested in making a retail purchase, all champagnes and sparkling wines will be on sale at a discounted price.

In addition to sipping champagne, food will also be sampled and sold. Participants may enjoy sushi from Sai Café, Collins Caviar, items from West Loop Salumi, and the Berkshire Pork Chop from Bunn Gourmet.
