The 4th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic
This past Saturday the hautest spot in LA was none other than the Will Rogers Sate Historic Park, where the 4th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was underway.
Bold faced-names such as Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman, Dianna Agron, Kaley Cuoco and fiancée Ryan Sweeting, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Madekwe, Minnie Driver, Mandy Moore, Ahna O’Reilly, Aimee Garcia, Lauren Conrad and Jessica Lowndes were on hand to watch the match and enjoy some bubbly; Owen Wilson brought his son Ford to see the horses, check out the polo field and say hello to host Nacho Figueras prior to the match.
The afternoon kicked off when Rozzi Crane from “The Voice” sang the National Anthem and Ashley Madekwe of “Revenge” threw out the ceremonial ball toss. Kaley Cuoco also held up tradition by stomping the divots with her fiance Ryan Sweeting.
Over 5,000 spectators watched international polo player Figueras play alongside his 13-year-old son, Hilario, for the first time ever. Figueras, of course, was the game’s MVP, leading his team Black Watch in a 8-7 victory over Nespresso.
