Stars Toast the Macallan Masters of Photography Elliott Erwitt Edition

Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila Alves raised a dram on Thursday to toast the US launch The Macallan Masters of Photography: Elliott Erwitt Edition.

The haute couple were among the 300 guests who gathered at Leica Gallery to celebrate the fourth edition of The Macallan Masters of Photography series, featuring original images of Scotland, The Macallan’s homeland, shot by Elliott Erwitt. 

Additional celebrities in attendance included  Kevin McKidd, Amy Smart, Carter Oosterhouse, Rich Sommer and Reid Scott. 

The Masters of Photography: Elliott Erwitt Edition is The Macallan’s most ambitious to date with 58 unique single cask whiskies being paired with a different signed 11” x 14” Elliott Erwitt print. Only 35 of each of the exclusive pairings are available, making a complete global release of 2,030 packs, 320 of which are allocated for the US market.

The Elliott Erwitt Edition comprises a bespoke photo-archival book featuring a total of 158 images, shot by Elliott during his trip, with a 375ml handmade glass flask containing a never before released single cask malt whisky concealed within its pages. It retails for $1,500.

The images will remain up in the Leica Gallery for public view until November 1.
