Saks Fifth Avenue Partners with ‘Scandal’ For Store Windows

Saks Fifth Avenue is partnering with the popular ABC television series, Scandal, to fill one of their coveted window displays this season. Emmy nominated actress Kerry Washington’s character Olivia Pope will serve as the fashion inspiration for this prestigious storefront exhibit. Washington has clearly leached her own style into her character in Scandal as a fashionable yet realistically dressed sophisticated working woman.

The joint venture between Saks and Scandal will begin on October 2^nd. Saks will work closely with Scandal’s Emmy Award winning costume designer, Lyn Paolo, to create a display true to Washington’s on screen persona. Brands that are regularly featured on Washington’s character will be showcased in a storefront window display, in store, online and of course on screen in Scandal. The display will include designer pieces from Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Carolina Herrera among others.
