New York Fashion Week is Moving to Hudson Yards
The excitement from a tremendous fall Fashion Week in Lincoln Center has just started to die down, but talks about another move for the event have long been under way. Mayor Michael Bloomberg revealed at Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars that the future home of NYFW is the spacious and centrally located Hudson Yards.
The new location is a much larger venue that will allow for an easier flow to the often hectic event, according to WWD. Also, Hudson Yards is closer to the downtown area and major designers studios in the garment district. Although it’s unclear when the next Fashion Week will grace Hudson Yards, it promises to be a grand event. NYFW is the perfect way to showcase NYC’s redevelopment of Hudson Yards, securing its reputation as a respectable and luxurious location.
