The Los Angeles Antiques, Art + Design Show kicked off its 18th annual opening night preview party last week with a little help from none other than Barbra Streisand.

The 71-year-old icon was among the tastemakers and influencers who attended the show on Oct. 9.

More than a thousand guests mingled and enjoyed an evening of champagne provided by Piper-Heidsieck while previewing decorative and fine arts from more than 43 of the most respected art and antiques dealers in the world.

Additional attendees at the event included Tom Arnold, and Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Kathryn M. Ireland, and Jeffrey Alan Marks.

Proceeds from the Opening-Night party benefitted the Decorative Arts and Design Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which also recognized world-renowned photographer Tim Street-Porter and his wife, author Annie Kelly with the Design Leadership Award.
