Haute 100 Update Miami: Pharrell Celebrates Wedding At Kampong Botanical Gardens

Sure, he started off on a yacht aptly called “Never Say Never,” but Pharrell Williams and his bride, fashion designer and model, Helen Lasichanh finished the party at Miami’s Kampong Botanical Gardens on Saturday.  If you think it’s surprising that Miami’s hippest resident held his star-studded wedding reception in a garden, think again. The Kampong is one of Miami’s hidden treasures most amazing waterfront gardens.

A-list guests included Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and a pregnant Gwen Stefani. Pals Usher and Busta Rhymes put on a mini-concert, and everyone had a blast, with one guest commenting “It was so fun. The little concert was amazing. It [was] the most fun wedding I’ve ever been to.” The party served as the blow-out counterpoint to the small ceremony the couple of five years held in August in France. The couple have a four-year-old son together interestingly named, Rocket Man. We did say he was Miami’s hippest resident, right?
