Win Tickets To See Margaret Cho at Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club

These days brunch may be the most popular meal in America. It seems as if a restaurant is now judged by how well they do brunch. If you look on social media on an average weekend, mostly everyone is talking about where they’re doing brunch. Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club (3700 North Halsted) does lunch great, but what they do to stand apart is always give that little extra. Stand up comedian Margaret Cho is coming to Chicago, and Kit Kat is celebrating with the “mother” of all brunch soirees. On Sunday, October 6, the Lakeview lounge and supper club will host a Margaret Cho “Mother Tour” brunch party from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., featuring Chef JoAnn Witherell’s brunch fare (Chicken and Waffles, Rice Krispie French Toast, Eggs Florentine and more) and half-priced martinis, including the “Margarita Cho” (tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, sugar, served up with a salted rim and lime garnish, $6). Diva Madam X will provide live entertainment, while footage of Margaret Cho’s stand up comedy shows play on seven jumbo projection screens.
