UNICEF Snowflake Ball to Honor Danny Glover & CEO of Barneys New York

Preparations are underway for one of New York City’s most notable black-tie galas, the UNICEF Snowflake Ball! Actor Danny Glover and Barneys CEO Mark Lee will be honored at this year’s philanthropic fete, which will be held at Cipriani Wall Street on Dec. 3.

Both Lee and Glover are being recognized for their outstanding efforts to improve the lives of children. Lee will receive the Spirit of Compassion Award, while Glover will take home the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award.

The annual holiday event, which attracts both celebrities and socialites, has raised more than $18 million since its debut in 2005. This year’s star-studded host committee includes Orlando Bloom, Kristin Chenoweth, Whoopi Goldberg, Dakota Johnson, James Marsden, Chloë Grace Moretz, Christina Ricci, Kyra Sedgwick and Allison Williams.
