Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models To Co-Host The Q at SBWFF

In Miami, February is South Beach Food and Wine Festival time, but for the rest of the country, it’s all about the release of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. This year, to celebrate the swimsuit issue’s 50th edition, the good people at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival decided to put together two awesome things and have the issue’s 20 beauties attend (and unofficially host) The Q.

This year Food Network‘s Iron Chef Michael Symon will be taking Paula Deen’s place as host at the signature event that features over 30 chefs showcasing their best barbecue recipes. So why add the gals to one of the best-selling events? Because they can! Lee Schrager said, “Who says models don’t eat and enjoy great food and champagne? We plan to show that these gorgeous gals enjoy a food festival as much as any foodie.” The names of the 20 lucky SPI models will be revealed on February 18th, when the issue comes out. Although we think there are pretty good odds that last year’s cover girl, Kate Upton probably made the cut.  If you want the chance to rub elbows with them or just eat lots and lots of pork belly, buy tickets now, they always sell out fast!
