Rafael Nadal Wins US Open Championship

Last night two of the world’s best tennis players faced off at the US Open championship, with Rafael Nadal taking home the Grand Slam title. It was an incredible match between Nadal and Novak Djokovic, two veteran players who gave it their all at Arthur Ashe Stadium. And of course Nadal was wearing his RM 27-01, the ultra-light timepiece Richard Mille created specifically for him.

Nadal played a strong game, besting Djokovic 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. The win capped off an incredible comeback for Nadal, who missed the US Open last year due to injury. This is Nadal’s second US Open championship, his second Grand Slam title of the year, and his 13th Grand Slam crown.
