Nespresso Gears Up for America’s Cup Finals

The America’s Cup Finals are here!  As Oracle Team USA and Emirates Team New Zealand get ready for head-to-head competition, sponsors are also gearing up for massive crowds and tons of support for both teams.

Nespresso is the official coffee of the 34th America’s Cup.  The luxe coffee company has a long history of support for the Cup, offering fans, spectators and coffee lovers a taste of the delectable Nespresso experience. The executive team at Nespresso let Haute Living in on how they’re celebrating the magic of the Cup.

Tell us about any special products or services Nespresso is offering for the final leg of the America’s Cup.

Nespresso has created four signature coffee recipes in celebration of the 34th America’s Cup.  Vanilla Wave, Coconut Breeze, The Fog and Crossing the Golden Gate, which was created by the local San Francisco Barista, Heather Sanchez. The signature coffee recipes will be served at the Nespresso Boutique and America’s Cup Cafes throughout the finals so guests can truly taste the magic of the cup.

Nespresso also created the Limited Edition Maestria machine, a collector’s item embellished with the America’s Cup logo and International Maritime Signal Flags which evokes the sleek style and technical design of the intrepid AC72 class catamarans racing on the bay during the summer of sailing.

What was the reason that Nespresso chose to support the 34th America’s Cup?

Does Nespresso have a history with sailing, and do you support any other sporting events?

Nespresso has a longstanding association with the world of sailing, beginning its partnership with the sport as a co-sponsor of Team Alinghi in the 32nd America’s Cup between 2004 and 2007, as well as being the Official Coffee of the 33rd America’s Cup. More recently, Nespresso signed up as an Elite Sponsor to Emirates Team New Zealand. Emirates Team New Zealand and sailing support Nespresso’s brand values and provide an excellent platform to share the unique aspects of the brand.
