Haute 100 LA Update: Kobe Bryant Heads to Dubai in Support of Diabetes Awareness
Kobe Bryant is headed to the United Arab Emirates for a cause later this month.
The LA Lakers star will make a trip to Abu Dhabi and Dubai Sept. 26 and 27 for the Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness weekend in Support of Diabetes Awareness.
He’ll hold a youth basketball clinic on the 26th, and on the 27th will coach Team Black Mamba against the Real Madrid Basketball Legends in Dubai. Rapper DeAndre Cortex Way, better known as Soulja Boy, will play on Bryant’s squad. After the game, the 35-year-old NBA star will judge a slam dunk contest.
Immediately after the event in Dubai, Bryant will hop on a jet home to make the first day of the Lakers’ training camp on Sept. 28.
