Kate Upton Wins 2013 Model of the Year Award
It’s been a busy year for Kate Upton! Between starring as the face of jewelry retailer David Yurman and filming Hollywood blockbusters with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann, the 21-year-old beauty has become one of the most in-demand models to date. So it should come as no surprise that Upton has been named the 2013 Model of the Year.
Upton will formally accept the honor at the 10th Annual Style Awards, which are being held tonight in New York City. The fashion-forward affair, which kicks off New York Fashion Week, is being hosted by Nicole Richie.
Other honorees include Zac Posen, Victor Cruz, Frédéric Fekkai, Patrick Demarchelier, Rachel Zoe, John Varvatos, Trish Summerville and Janie Bryant. All of the event’s winners will receive a Tiffany & Co. designed award for their significant contributions to the fashion community.
