Haute Events: Enjoy Sunday Across the Golden Gate!

Happy Sunday!  After a day of Saturday gloom in San Francisco, it’s time to get out and about for a haute Sunday across the Golden Gate.  It’s not too late to make plans for a beautiful afternoon and evening with these two events.

For the first time, Ram’s Gate Winery will be showcasing the fruits of their labor, not only in the vineyards, but also the garden and hives!  This special evening will include a Tour of the winery’s Four Farmers Garden lead by Farmer Kate with a demonstration from Beekeeper Rob Keller, followed by a four-course pig roast dinner at the Ram’s Gate Pavilion, featuring newly released Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, produce grown in the Four Farmers Garden and honey straight from the on-site hives.

Farmshop Marin is thrilled to welcome stellar winemakers Annie Favia and Andy Erickson to kick off their new Wine Dinner Series with a winemakers dinner celebrating Favia Wines.

In true Farmshop style, the format of the evening will be fun and interactive. Guests will have the option of ordering a flight of five wines from both Favia Erickson Winegrowers and Room, their Marin project, for $65, alongside a meal ordered from an a la carte menu created to complement the wines, and the opportunity to meet and learn from the visionaries behind them.

Annie and Andy will be pouring the following wines: Room Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Favia Suize Viognier Amador 2011, Favia Rompecabezas red Wine Amador 2010, Favia Quarzo Syrah Amador 2010m Favia Cerro Sur Napa Valley Red Wine 2009.
