Haute Event: Enrique Iglesias Kicks Off Mexican Independence Day at the Cosmopolitan
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas kicked off a four-day Mexican Independence Day celebration on Friday night with a high-energy performance by Grammy award-winning Enrique Iglesias at the Boulevard Pool. The decorated Latin recording artist charmed the crowd with fan favorites such as “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You),” “Dirty Dancer” and “Hero.”
Iglesias will return to the Boulevard Pool for a second performance on Sunday night.
Additional Mexican Independence Day celebrations happening at the resort include the patriotic “Grito Mexicano” tomorrow at midnight at The Chandelier, classic Mexican dishes at chef José Andrés’ China Poblano like Chiles en Nogada and Menudo, Mariachi El Bronx at Book & Stage and mariachi performers roaming throughout the resort.
