Haute Event: Carlos Santana Donates Guitars to Agassi Prep

House of Blues headliner Carlos Santana brought along friends from Hermes Music and House of Blues to make a visit to the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy on Tuesday morning. While visiting, they surprised the kids with a donation of 200 guitars from Hermes Music. LP Music and PRS Guitars also donated percussion instruments and additional guitars. Andre Agassi was on hand to welcome the group to the school and be on hand for the donation and the school’s music students performed a medley of Santana classics during the visit. Santana, who performs at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, is a huge supporter of the community and arts in education and looks forward to continuous support of the school.

Those in attendance included Carlos Santana, Andre Agassi, Ben Weeden, C.O.O. House of Blues Entertainment, Michael Vrionis, President of Universal Tone Management/Santana, Alberto Kreimerman, C.E.O. of Hermes Music and founder of Hermes Music Foundation, Gregory Morrison, V.P. of Hermes Music U.S., staff members of House of Blues Las Vegas and of course, the students of Agassi Prep.
