David Beckham Worried His Daughter Would Accidentally Kick Anna Wintour during NYFW

Even David Beckham is worried about getting on Anna Wintour‘s bad side! The soccer star sat front row with his 2-year-old daughter, Harper, during Victoria‘s runway show at New York Fashion Week and worried that the little girl would misbehave and upset the Vogue editor.

“It was the first show that she sat out there and I was sitting next to Anna [Wintour], of course,” Beckham told E! News after his wife’s show during London Fashion Week. “I was trying to keep Harper from…because she was standing up and she was sitting down, she was saying, ‘I like the pink dress. I like the white dress.’ Her legs were moving around and I thought, ‘I don’t want her to kick Anna.'”

Despite Harper’s fidgeting, Bekham says that Wintour was not ruffled in the least. “Anna was so unbelievably sweet to her,” he revealed. “She was so sweet to her. You know, she’s got children so she’s used to that.”
