Brazilian Artists Os Gemeos Launch Limited Edition Hennessy Bottle

Hennessy V.S. took over the Emerson Theatre last week to celebrate its new collaboration with Brazilian artists Os Gemeos.

The identical twin brothers Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo (Os Gemeos literally translates as “The Twins”) used their home of São Paolo for inspiration when creating the bottle.

“São Paolo made us who we are… It was an environment that called on us to improvise,” they said. “We live in our dream world 24 hours a day, and our art is a way of putting outside what we find inside. For us, that’s what life is about—continually opening new windows.”

Os Gemeos are the latest artists curated by Hennessy to create a special label. They are following in the footsteps of collaborators Futura and KAWS.

They kicked off the end of their nationwide tour at LA’s favorite speakeasy on Sept. 5 with a special DJ set before The Regulator Warren G. took to the stage for a surprise performance. VIPs in attendance included Problem, DPG’s Scoe, Wishbone from Bone Thugs N Harmony and Kevin Roosevelt.
