Vivienne Westwood to Open Store in $13.5M Townhouse
Vivienne Westwood is opening up a brand new Manhattan store in a unique and unconventional location: a $13.5 million dollar townhouse. Located next to the ritzy St. Regis Hotel, the highly anticipated fashion house boasts five stories and 12,000 feet of countless couture pieces. The style mogul paid a pretty penny for her latest locale, but sources told The Post that the brand is not interested in leasing.
“They have a beautiful freestanding store on the West Coast but also wanted to be in New York. But they only wanted to own, not to lease,” revealed the source.
Vivienne Westwood’s spectacular townhouse will include retail space, a showroom and a room for the brand’s corporate headquarters.
