Haute Event: The Third Annual Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival

LA’s third annual ode to gourmet food and wine kicked off in a big way on Thursday.

The star-studded Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival was celebrated with a star-studded red carpet in Downtown LA’s “heart of art’.

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis started the festival right by hosting her “Festa Italiana” evening.

“Ace of Cakes” star Duff Goldman surprised the Italian beauty onstage with a custom cake in celebration of her birthday, which was followed by a serenade from Josh Guerrero of the LA Opera. DJ ?uestlove entertained the crowd from the main stage as guests wined and dined into the night.

Attendees at the Lexus and Delta Airlines-sponsored event included Los Angeles Food & Wine CEO & Co-Founder David Bernahl, Chefs Michael Chiarello, Scott Conant, Georgia Hardstark, Thomas Keller, Antonia Lofaso, Fabio Viviani, Alie Ward as well as celebrity guests Anthony Anderson, Erin Andrews, Chris Cornyn, Henry Czerny, Aimee Garcia, Matt Greene, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Josh Henderson, Ali Larter, Sharon Lawrence, Rachelle Lefevre, Waylynn Lucas, Jessica Miller, Brad Richardson, Aarti Sequeira, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Jarret Stoll and Brenda Urban.
