Summer Polo: Hamptons Cup and Silver Cup Tournaments

This week Piaget once again dominated the US polo scene. The luxury watchmaker simultaneously hosted two of the sport’s most prestigious events; the Piaget Hamptons Cup at the Equuleus Polo Club in Watermill, NY, and the finals of the USPA Piaget Silver Cup tournament at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Santa Barbara, CA.

On the East Coast, Nacho Figueras made his first appearance since being sidelined by a hip injury back in May. Figueras wasted no time, leading his St. Regis team to victory over Credit Suisse. Larry Boland, the President of Piaget North America, joined guests including Eric Ripert, Alainn & Stefano Natella, Gabby Karan De Felice & Gianpaolo De Felice, Paul James, Delfina Blaquier, Diana & Joe DiMenna, Lise & Michael Evans and Mary Kathryn & Alex Navab. The event raised an impressive $500,000 for the Robin Hood foundation.

Meanwhile on the West Coast, Farmers & Merchants Bank and La Herradura battled it out during the finals of the USPA Piaget Silver Cup. The Swiss manufacture’s polo ambassador Jeff Hall welcomed guests for the exciting match.
