Photos: Ciara Performs Poolside at the Palms
R&B superstar Ciara showed off her sultry dance moves and powerhouse voice at “Ditch Fridays” at the Palms Pool on Friday afternoon.
The gorgeous performer sparkled on the red carpet, sporting a skin-tight, knee-length baby blue Top Shop dress paired with white Christian Louboutin stilettos.
Fresh off the release of her brand new self-titled album, which debuted on the Billboard charts at No. 2, Ciara stopped to chit-chat about her success.
“When I got all the sweet love from my new album, I was really excited and I felt motivated because it’s been so long since I put out music,” Ciara says. “It has me super turned up for what’s to come next.”
Ciara made her way through the dayclub blowing kisses and waving at thousands of fans. The bombshell jumped behind the deejay booth and greeted guests before belting out songs including “Goodies,” “1,2 Step,” and her latest hit, “I’m Out,” which features Nicki Minaj. The crowd went wild when Ciara playfully started beat-boxing while making her way to the front of the stage where she performed her sexy jam, “Ride.”
Ciara took to the microphone to say, “I see all my guys have their shirts off and all my ladies have their suits on… Let’s have a body party,” before treating onlookers to a memorable performance of her chart-topping hit, “Body Party.”
Olympian Michael Phelps was spotted at N9NE Steakhouse later in the evening. He dined family style with an entourage of 10 people. Executive chef Barry Dakake introduced Phelps to the Gypsy Kings, who were also dining in the restaurant and are big fans of the athlete.
