Photos: 22 Donate Ponytails to Locks of Love at the Rio Spa & Salon
The Rio Spa & Salon held its fourth annual cut-a-thon to benefit Locks of Love, the public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss, on Sunday. With 22 gracious donors, Rio Spa & Salon collected more than 50 ponytails with the longest length of donation at 18 inches. In light of yesterday’s event, a donor visited the salon today and donated an additional 29 inches of hair.
