High end clothing shopping for the little ones doesn’t get better than this.

Peek…Aren’t You Curious, a premium children’s apparel brand, made a big splash during the store’s Grand opening on August 1st.  Both adults and children were on hand to experience the luxe kids’ wear that is Peek.

The 1,000 square-foot store located in San Francisco’s Marina District offers contemporary apparel that is made with the same quality that adults demand in their own wardrobe.  Since joining forces with Nordstrom in late 2010, the fast growing children’s label has become a favorite with bay area shoppers.  “After establishing Peek at Nordstrom’s in the Village at Corte Madera Town center as well opening a stand alone store, it didn’t take us long to discover that the bay area customer really got what we were doing,” said Tina Canales, a mother of three and co-founder of Peek…Aren’t You Curious. “One of the compliments that we love is when parents tell us how much their kids like to wear our clothes. One of the other biggest compliments that we can receive is when our adult customers tell us that they wished we made our clothes in their size as well.”

Each weekend that remains in the month of August will offer a fun kid’s activity including music, creating your own custom button, yoga and a silhouette artist who creates one of a kind keepsake gifts.  On Sunday, August 18, the KaraVan will be handing out Kara’s cupcakes to help celebrate the new store opening and customers receive a free Peek… tote with any purchase (while supplies last, of course).
