Joe’s Stone Crab Memoir Coming Out in October
Deeny Kaplan Lorber has penned a book about Joe’s Stone Crab famous waitstaff called Waiting at Joe’s. Known for having one of the highest employee retention rates anywhere, Lorber gives each of the employees a chapter to tell stories about the restaurant and who they waited on. Included are fun and touching stories about checking a young Matt Damon’s ID, and smitten server Janine Ostow joking with President Clinton at a private dinner. The book, which has a forward by Joe’s Stone Crab fan Larry King, will be coming out on October 18th via Seaside Publishing.
