Haute 100 LA Update: James Franco Survives Comedy Central Roast
Renaissance man James Franco finally took some heat from his peers over the weekend as the subject of Comedy Central’s annual roast.
At Sunday night’s Comedy Central Roast of James Franco taping at Culver Studios, the 35-year-old was ribbed by pals Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen. Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg as well as comedians Nick Kroll, Jeff Ross and Sarah Silverman.
His friends mocked James’ Oscar hosting performance, his varied roles, his poetry, paintings and even his grandmother.
The televised roast will be broadcast on Comedy Central Sept. 2 at 10 ET/PT.
