Helio Castroneves Leads IndyCar Championship
With just five races remaining in the IZOD IndyCar Series, Helio Castroneves has taken the top spot setting his sights on the long elusive championship. After not being too happy with his car all weekend, the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner finished the weekend with his 10th consecutive top-10 finish. “If you would have told me we would have finished in the top-10 today, I would have said you were crazy,” Castroneves said Sunday.
The past few championships have all come down to the final race, but Castroneves’ team and his strategies will remain the same as the races come to a close, “I have said all along that we will continue to do our thing and not change a thing and it will pay off at the end of the day.”
