News | August 5, 2013

Ralph Lauren will shell out $1.4 million for a limited-edition Ferrari hybrid next spring. According to the New York Post, the Italian auto powerhouse designed the stylish ride for an intimate group of proprietors, including Lauren. Named LaFerrari, the luxurious sports car hybrid boasts an incredible ability to go from zero to 186 mph in a mere 15 seconds, plus a top speed of more than 217 mph.

During a private dinner at The Parrish Art Museum in the Hamptons, Ferrari introduced the exclusive model to a select group of future owners. The elite members include Cirque de Soleil founder Guy Laliberte, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, renowned movie director Michael Mann and Canadian entrepreneur Lawrence Stroll.

It’s safe to say that Ralph Lauren rides in style.
