Complexions Contemporary Ballet Returns to Aspen
Well into its summer season, this weekend the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet welcomes Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Called “a powerful exposition of symphonic choreography, full of energy, pulse and invention” by the New York Post, this troupe is continually evolving and embracing different aspects from all dance. Its mantra is that dance should remove boundaries. Founded more than 15 years ago, co-artistic directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson lead this charge of fluid innovation across the stage.
The New York-based groups comes to Aspen this weekend, Aug. 2 and 3, with performances at 8 p.m. at the Aspen District Theatre each night. Tickets are available here.
