Marina Lofts 2

A new Bjarke Ingel‘s project in Fort Lauderdale was just approved by their city commission. The development is called Marina Lofts, is curtosey of developer Asi Cymbal. The project includes 2 towers, one which has been “split open,” and has had the original plan been scaled back by more than a hundred units to a total of 856. But that’s 856 people who will be able to own a piece of the most interesting architecture north of the Dade County line. The project will finally connect the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk and move a significant tree, dubbed “The Rain Tree” to a new, nearby park.
