When October rolls around in Italy, a special part of the country has the privilege of experiencing a highly esteemed kind of haute cuisine: truffles. More specifically, white truffles. Following the foraging season, Miami foodies will also be able to experience a bounty of truffles in an intimate, six-course truffle dinner at The Ritz-Carlton in November.

With a world-class chef Ezio Gamba (of the restaurant Cioppino, naturally) and Executive Pastry chef David Campbell will present delectable meals–ranging from ribbon pasta noodles, veal shank, and beef tartare–all topped with shaved white truffles. Sommelier Jorge Mendoza and Fiorenzo Dogliani will also have vintage wines from Batasolio Spa accompanying the meals as well. The desert is then finished off with Asian pears with hazelnut butter.

Reservations for this six-course event will be taken starting tomorrow and you can call Cioppino at 305.365.4286.
