The Little Nell Named One of the World’s “Best Hotels” by Travel + Leisure
The Little Nell kept its streak going this year after being named one of the 2013 World’s Best Hotels by Travel + Leisure, an honor it’s maintained since 2007. Aspen’s only five-star property sits at the base of Aspen Mountain, offering ski-in, ski-out access in the winter and priceless views in the summer. The rooms were recently remodeled by designer Holly Hunt, and a new restaurant, Element 47, opened this winter.
“As cozy-chic as the rooms are, you may prefer being seen at the new bar, Element 47, sipping a Silver Lining (Colorado vodka and blood orange puree topped with an edible silver Aspen leaf) while weighing the virtues of hedge funds,” writes Travel + Leisure.
Other properties in Colorado to receive the award include the Ritz-Carlton at Bachelor Gulch, the Four Seasons at Vail, the Sebastian Vail and the Hotel Madeliene Telluride.
